About Us
In North High School’s CTE Graphic Design Pathway, students enage in experiential learning that happens in the workplace to gain essential graphic design skills. The pathway is also partnered with Community College of Denver to offer students to take the classes enrolled as a college student and to earn free college credits here on our campus. This class offers a 4-year pathway to allow students to maximize college credits earned and to build a complete set of design skills. With the skills learned, past students have worked in successful internships, earned international and national design awards, and have started design careers while in high school.

About Mr. Wiant
About 25 years ago I started my passion for design while taking high school art classes in Cleveland, Ohio and dabbling in graphic design on the side. I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Visual Communication and a Master's Degree in Multimedia/Web Design. After receiving my degrees I moved to Colorado where I worked as a contract designer and ran my own design company working for all sort of big and small companies. Ten years ago I decided to share my passion for design by becoming a graphic design teacher in the Montbello neighborhood where I taught college level courses to my high school students. I have lived in the Northside of Denver since 2006 and I am excited about sharing my design knowledge to my community.
