You will start with a group brainstorming session at the project wall and then you will start your design. If you need your photo taken, use a white wall as a background to make removing your image easier. What tool are you going to use to remove your image from the background? Consider what the most accurate tool will be.

Portfolio Website ~ Design Stage
We will start today by finding a template that you want to use for your portfolio and then you will start to play around with the overall look of your design. We will go over how to set up the navigation of our website today too.
Objective
A portfolio is very important for a designer to have to properly showcase their work and to have a place to display their work online. Wix is a free website building tool that will allow you to create a portfolio site that is unique to you. You will need to use trial and error while building this website and you may get frustrated, but you need to push on to complete the website.

Portfolio Requirements
1. Home Page
- This page needs to catch the viewer’s attention. You can use one of your strong designs, a quote, or whatever else you think will do this. Look online at examples for inspiration.
2. Portfolio Gallery
- At least 4 GD1 projects
- At least 2 GD2 projects
- Each piece needs to include a title that is different from your file name.
- Descriptions are optional if you want to explain your work in a few sentences. This will up the quality of your site.
3. Significant effort was shown and creativity.
4. Unneeded elements are removed
