Denver Garbage Truck Art Contest - Due 11/22



The City and County Denver, Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) and Denver Public Schools (DPS) are seeking student artists for the “Denver Diverts Rolling Gallery.” SWM trucks will show off DPS 4 students artwork on the side of collection trucks. That is nearly 32 square feet of “canvas"! DPS student artists shall create an original artwork that highlights the importance of reducing waste in Denver while adding a bit of flair to the city. In selecting the artists who will participate, the DSWM will prioritize proposed designs that encourage residents and visitors to divert waste properly.

Eligible ParticipantsOpen to registered students ECE-12th Grade in Denver Public Schools


Due DateAccepting art Submissions from October 1st through November 22nd Students must submit their finished artwork and online entry form below. Only one entry per student.


DimensionsDimenions are 5"x15", landscape orientation.
